Every frame of the Harry Potter movies, condensed into a barcode. Interesting to see the choice of color palettes for each film!
This is amazing. pure brilliance. whoever had the idea (and time) to condense every frame of the harry potter movies is my new favorite person. it is like my entire childhood condensed into a beautiful spectrum of color.

When you feel bad about your procrastination, remember that Harry had 3 months to do figure out the golden egg clue and he waited until the like night before to do it. At least you’re not gonna die for not doing your homework.

It Took 400,000 Lego Bricks to Build Hogwarts
Alice Finch built this humongous Hogwarts replica using 400,000 Lego bricks, not just completing the outside of the school accurately, but also creating an interior to just about every room Hogwarts has to offer as well. We’re talking Snape’s classroom, the Chamber of Secrets, potions lab, the Great Hall, and everything else you can think of. Photos of the entire school can be found on her Flickr.
Brothers Brick has an interview with Finch about the massive creative feat. Flip through her photos to see numerous references and characters to the beloved book/film series.

THE MAGIC BEGINS » 7/8 - Favourite scene. / A scene you really wanted to be in the movies, but wasn’t.And he spat in her face.Harry pulled the Cloak off himself, raised his wand, and said, “You shouldn’t have done that.”
As Amycus spun around, Harry shouted, “Crucio!”
The Death Eater was lifted off his feet. He writhed through the air like a drowning man, thrashing and howling in pain, and then, with a crunch and a shattering of glass, he smashed into the front of a bookcase and crumpled, insensible, to the floor. “I see what Bellatrix meant,” said Harry, the blood thundering through his brain, “you need to really mean it.”
“Potter!” whispered Professor McGonagall, clutching her heart. “Potter— you’re here! What—? How—?” She struggled to pull herself together. “Potter, that was foolish!”
“He spat at you,” said Harry.
This was seriously one of my favourite parts in any Harry Potter book ever. I mean, ignoring the fact that he used the cruciatus curse, Harry saying “You shouldn’t have done that” and explaining himself with “he spat at you” was so freaking awesome. One does not simply spit at McGonagall (one of Harry’s mentors who he’s known since he was 11 and the freaking best head of Gryffindor house ever).

The world isn’t split into good people and Death Eaters. We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on.
